Speculation

Characters

There was a great amount of speculation about which Transformers characters will appear in Transformers 2, among them are :

Megatron will return as Galvatron.
Grimlock and the Dinobots will face off against the Constructicons or Combaticons.

However, the new sequel didn't have these at all, Megatron returned as a tank and we saw new transformers:

Decepticons:

*Grindor A helicopter.

*Sideways An Audi R8. Robotic appearance like Barricade. Sliced in half by Sideswipe.

*Soundwave The satellite that appeared frequently in the movie.

Autobots:

*Sideswipe An Autobot on skates (when transformed).
